| Managing Your Business |
Setting the Stages for Growth
In the early stages of your growth, the management of your business will stress marketing, sales and promotion more than general administration. Your primary needs will be a technician for installation and general maintenance, as well as a person who can organize players and leagues.
Once you familiarize yourself with the equipment, your first task will be getting your tables into bars and other establishments, and agreeing on a revenue-sharing agreement with the owner. Next, you will focus on your league program by recruiting players, forming leagues and scheduling competitions.
As you business expands and your need for additional tables grows, you may consider combining operating and selling tables to other operators who then become part of your league organization. Whichever direction your business takes, it will become increasingly important to solidify your general office procedures for accounting and communications. Having a well thought out and organized management system will make it easier for you to expand to other cities as your leagues attract more players.
During our management training sessions, you'll learn the successful management techniques you'll need as your business expands. Sessions are scheduled throughout the year at both our headquarters in the United States, as well as in your country. |
