Dynamo®
Ltd. was born in the year 1973 in Dallas, Texas under
the auspices of a young entrepreneur named William Rickett.
Bill entered the amusement game manufacturing business
by introducing the first Dynamo foosball tables. After
a short period of time and a great deal of success, Dynamo
began building coin-operated pool tables as well. They
found their niche in the U.S. market by offering a reliable,
high quality pool table for a more economical price. Though
the Dynamo tables did not have the league support for
which Valley® was so well known, they still found
their following amongst U.S. distributors and operators.
The company
continued to grow and added products to their line including air hockey tables,
shuffleboards, video cabinets, and contract work for other manufacturers. Dynamo’s
line of air hockey tables are now known as the finest air hockey tables in the
world and have won the AMOA’s ‘Best Hockey Game’ award every year for the last
10 years. Dynamo has also done contract manufacturing for nearly every major video
game manufacturer and continues to do custom manufacturing for various entities
in the industry.
Dynamo also entered the international market place in
the early 90’s, and their efforts were rewarded when, in 1995, they also won the
President’s “E” Award for export excellence. Dynamo products are now sold in over
40 countries worldwide, and their international market continues to grow. |
